You can now explore the wonderful world of worms this summer at National Museum Cardiff at a new family friendly exhibition called Wriggle! which opens on Saturday, June 18.
From fossils to fantasy, food to spectacular beauty, and the scary ones too, visitors can discover the mind-blowing diversity of worms from the museum’s own collections for free.
Some of the names of the worms on show include:
Bone eating snot flowers
Mint sauce worms
Football jersey worms
Shovel head worms
Pig butt worms
Spiny headed worms
“We have some great events lined up to coincide with the exhibition including our Worm Charming World Record Attempt at St Fagans National History Museum on Saturday, July 23. Join us as we attempt to attract a record number of worms to the surface.”
The exhibition runs from Saturday, June 18 until Friday, Septermber 30. Entry to the museum is free.
